Why AppShot exists .

Every app launch hits the same wall. You finish the build, you finish the listing copy, and then you spend a day in Figma resizing the same composition for eight device tiers and exporting to ZIP folders by hand.

The existing tools fix the export but charge per-screenshot, watermark your work, or only run on someone else's cloud. None of them respect that you might want to own the data on your own server.

AppShot is the tool we wanted ourselves: a screenshot generator that handles every device tier automatically, exports to a clean ZIP per device, and runs equally well on our hosted SaaS or on your own shared-hosting plan.

Built by the team at Froiden — the same crew that ships WorkSuite , a project and team management platform on CodeCanyon used by independent studios and agencies running it on their own servers.

We've shipped self-host software for years and know first-hand what doesn't work on shared hosting. The non-negotiable constraint behind AppShot — runs on Hostinger-tier shared hosting with zero SSH — comes from that experience, not from a marketing page.

Every architectural decision in v1 flows from one question: would this still work on a $4/month shared plan? If the answer is no, we redesigned until it did.
